Raised under the bright skies of Rhodes, Greece, Vasiliki Kamoisi first discovered her voice through the flute at age seven. What began as a childhood curiosity evolved into a lifelong calling. Since relocating to Germany in 2021, Vasiliki has used her time traveling between cities and institutions to deepen her technical mastery and refine her artistic voice. The transition between countries has become a core part of her development, allowing her to explore her identity as a performer in a new cultural landscape.
Having studied Music Science at LMU Munich, Vasiliki’s approach to the instrument is informed by a deep researcher’s perspective. Her work is not only about technical mastery but also about understanding the historical and scientific contexts that shape the classical repertoire. This analytical foundation allows her to bring a unique clarity to her performances and a structured, insightful methodology to her teaching. As she continues to evolve her musical identity across borders, Vasiliki remains dedicated to exploring the flute through both rigorous scholarship and expressive artistry. Now based in Germany, Vasiliki is actively balancing her advanced studies with a commitment to sharing her craft—whether through collaborative performance or dedicated teaching.
